Most Snake games hand you a high score and a shrug. This one puts you in a group of fifty real people, scores your week, and on Monday somebody goes up and somebody goes down.
No grinding. Three good runs is a full week.
Only your three highest scores of the week are added up, in the mode that ladder is for. A hundred bad runs will not move you. Three good ones will.
You are never ranked against the whole world. You get a group of up to fifty, and friends are placed alongside you wherever possible.
The table locks every Monday. Promotions and relegations are applied, the slate wipes, and everyone starts the new week level.
Classic is played upright, the way a phone sits in your hand. Retro is played wide, the shape the game had on the keypad phones it came from. They are scored separately, so a good week in one is nothing to do with the other.
The ranked mode the app opens on. Pure Snake, no pickups, no revives. Your best three Classic runs are your week.
A shorter, wider arena that fills up faster and speeds up sooner. Its own table, its own tier, its own promotion every Monday.
Finish in the top fifth of your group and you go up. Finish in the bottom slice and you go down. Everyone starts in Bronze.
An example group, part way through a week. Green is going up, red is going down, and you are somewhere in the middle deciding whether to play one more run.
Pass someone and the game shows you the moment it happens.
A ladder is only worth climbing if the people above you earned it.
Ranked runs are re-simulated on our server from your own inputs. If those moves do not produce that score, the run does not count.
Revive Coins and ad continues work in Endless and Blitz. Ranked Classic stays pure: one life, one run, one score.
Free and Pro play an identical board. There is no paid speed, no paid layout and no paid extra life.
Free, in your browser, no download. Three runs and you are in this week.
